In an opening speech, the Executive President of the forum, Comrade Awa Bamiji tasks the Buhari government which came to power on the progressives’ platform to avoid the pitfalls of his predecessors who over looked the need for justice in the matter.
“…it is equally important for him before he completes his 2nd term tenure to resolve the question of “Who Killed Bola Ige?” otherwise, history would have included him in the list of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’adua, Goodluck Jonathan as one of those who couldn’t resolve Bola Ige murder case for a period 24 years, by May 29, 2023”

Comrade Awa Bamiji reminded the governments that the nation will continue to witness spates of unresolved assassination if those who killed Bola Ige and many of nationalists are not fish out and dealt with according to the law.
“These Killers are among us and increasing in number through enjoyment of “injustice” that they are getting and still getting since 2001 till date. This explains why while we are not at peace any more in Nigeria”

Recalling that refusal or inability by past governments to punish criminality was responsible for the upsurge in cases of militia movements, kidnapping and rising cases of murder, assassinations now bedeviling the country, Comrade Bamiji called for increase in security vote and security awareness among Nigeria governments and foreign powers.

”It will be recalled that kidnappers, murderers, Rapists, Bandits, and others have carried out their evil operation mostly on our roads, homes, farms and in jungles to the chagrin of governments and majority of our people. In consideration of this, we urge our Governors that are closer to us to make sure that policing the jungle day and night must be the responsibility of our Security Agents while the security network in the town must equally be excellently boosted”.

While thanking those who have supported the body since its formation, he urged both the federal and state to work together to unravel the list of assassinations that had taken place since the military era.
