The 26-year-old National Youth Service Corps, NYSC member who runs the famous Gistlover Blog, Emeh Nnamdi, has been arrested by the International Police, INTERPOL after the Nigerian police declared him wanted on February 20, 2023, for impersonation of an Assistant Superintendent of Police and defamation of character
Nnamdi was arrested in a joint operation by INTERPOL operatives in Benin Republic and Nigeria on Friday, March 3, 2023, in connection with allegations that top police officers in Anambra State Command are involved in the kidnapping and killing of suspects after extorting them and human organ trafficking.
It will be recalled that the blogger made the allegations via his Gistlover Instagram handle. Emeh Nnamdi is said to have been impersonating personnel of the Nigeria Police Force while serving as a tracker in the Anambra Police Command.
The 26-year-old corp member and the son of Professor J. K Emeh is currently in Police custody in Abuja.
