Adopt alternative conflict resolution mechanisms as solution to sponsored protests – Mallam Abdulkarim Muhammad Abdullahi

I hope something glaringly obvious and realistically remarkable will be officially done to assuage the current hurts and hard feelings of neglect of the peasant farmers in the North, who are the most overlooked and negatively frustrated while political opportunists seem to have a field day of pomp and pageantry…”

That the North must boycott the proposed nationwide protest by replacing it with a more realistic and reasonable empowerment project for the North at the next level is the topic of my Friday Sermon of today, which is calling on patriotic Nigerians from the North who love Nigerian unity, to focus their energy on prioritizing the developmental needs of the North as a matter of urgent and grave national concern.

My proposal which must include these two levels of strategies amongst others are:

(a) A Presidential Summit on current state of insecurity and food security measures.

(b) How to overcome the menace of Almajirism through demystification of the cultural activities and systemic investigations of the social habits that promote and sustain them in the society.

I believe that these and many other social vices like drug addictions and overgrown 419 scamming impunity as well as murderous banditry menace, are more politically pragmatic and relevant roadmap to highlight for implementation by the North, rather than engaging in acts capable of worsening our precarious situation.

Charity should begin at home by drawing the attention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima that they are yet to contextualize and address the sensitive issues affecting the poor masses of the North who overwhelmingly voted for him against all odds.

This is my take and candid analyses and objections about the untold secret truth regarding the political reactions against the government’s palliative care to motivate the poor population density curve in the North who are their unrepentant supporters at the polls.

I hope something glaringly obvious and realistically remarkable will be officially done to assuage the current hurts and hard feelings of neglect of the peasant farmers in the North, who are the most overlooked and negatively frustrated while political opportunists seem to have a field day of pomp and pageantry, destroying the good name of a government that came with a pragmatic template to right the wrongs of the past colossal legacy of prebendal capitalist frivolities ravaging our country since PDP corrupt political intrusion in 1999.

Interestingly, the Niger State Governor, Umar Bago in this video, is showing the rest of the country how to remain focused and act instead of making noise. I applaud the good leadership of the Governor of Niger State.
