Uwihoreye Francois, a Rwandan was heartbroken after his wife went out with another man on their wedding day shortly after the exchange of vows. The Rwandan couple had a civil wedding which did not take too much time or resources as they were back in the house in no time.

The despairing man was left puzzled and heartbroken after his marriage ended the same day he married the love of his life.

Uwihoreye Francois said his wife cheated on him on the wedding day, leaving him heartbroken and in utter despair.

“I left the wife at home in Butare. Right after I left, she went out with another guy named Jean de Dieu whom we sang together in the choir. He took her out in Gisenyi. They spent two weeks at the beach. They were having an affair and committing adultery,” he told Afrimax English. Uwihoreye had no choice but to agree to part ways with the woman he loved and pledged to spend the rest of his life with.

“After two to three weeks, they returned. She had fallen in love with another guy who was the same guy they had an affair with. He told her to file a divorce so that they would get married. So she asked me for a divorce,” the devastated young man said.

According to Mwaura, they had dated for four years when they decided to make it official, but he cheated months before the wedding, as she told YouTuber Jeff Kuria.

Carol Mwaura said her ex was pious and wanted intimacy after marriage, only for him to go behind her back and cheat.

The actress and gospel singer said it was a tough call as they had held an introduction ceremony and received their parents’ blessings.
