“There should be a deliberàte roadmap to use agriculture as the new template for rural development and re-engieering of commodity boards and rapid industrialization in Nigeria. This should be outside the centralized policy through the CBN which is corruptly structured and the major cause of poverty and chronic corruption”
PEGASUS REPORTERS, LAGOS | APRIL 21, 2023
Now that history beckons on Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the last and unconquered African hero still standing to showcase Africa’s best moment of hopes, glory and global expectations amidst mountain anxiety of uncertainties due to treacherous threats by Africa’s infamous local and international traitors can he survive despite his spirit of unyielding defiance, unbendable resolve and unyielding courage?
Can Tinubu escape from the relentless attacks of the destructive pursuits of Nigeria’s chronic power cartels and their deliberately debilitating social media influence, even as the world awaits the authentic list of President Tinubu’s Cabinet as well as Presidential inauguration speech on the 29th of May 2023, even as many Nigerians are concerned and worried about the performance records of the president-elect and his undisclosed Cabinet members?
My personal and ideological take on the Tinubu Presidency is to get Nigeria back on the world map, through tenacious commitments to the followings:
* making agriculture the focal point of Nigeria’s development paradigm and creating a deliberàte revival policy to aggressively mechanise rural agriculture and make it the new face of Africa’s self-reliant security architecture that ensures that states, federal and local governments are mandated to invest in Agriculture by establishing state’s integrated farms that are functionally cater for as job empowerment as well as revenue capacity generating agencies.
* that all technical support and back up supply chains should be integrated for efficiency and multiple utilisation and harmonized community distribution network.
There should be a deliberàte roadmap to use agriculture as the new template for rural development and re-engieering of commodity boards and rapid industrialization in Nigeria. This should be outside the centralized policy through the CBN which is corruptly structured and the major cause of poverty and chronic corruption.
* this time around, the government should split the Ministry of Agriculture into two broad but autonomous operational groups:
(a) Ministry of Rural Agriculture and Rural Infrastructure
(b) Ministry of Commercial Agriculture and Export Services.
Of course, the issue of nomadic animal migration and domicility for the Fulani herders should be fully defined and spelt out including the enhancement of our educational policy to integrate the basic educational needs and facilitations of our rural communities, within their catchment areas.
In addition, the Tinubu People’s Network TPN Nationwide Grassroot Think Tank has made conscious arrangements to collaborate with the national leadership of the Nigerian Association of Indigenous Hunters and other local Security forces, which are the on standby, to ensure that the new president, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, his Vice Senator Kashim Shettima plus Governor’s Fourm as well as all Local Government Chairmen are made to launch our new Food Security Security Surveillance system, with the theme,”No Farmers, No Nation” which is specifically conceived to get President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to launch the new Batified National Agricultural Security Surveillance system by launching Operation Back to Farm” for rural farmers during the the incoming planting Season fro April to June 2023, pls.
