The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, has upturned the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke at the July 16th, 2022 governorship polls.

The three-man panel, led by Justice Tertsea Kume, gave this judgment today.

The court held that after deducting said invalid votes following proof of over-voting, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola scored 314, 931 while Governor Ademola Adeleke scored 290, 666 for second votes

The electoral tribunal sitting in Oshogbo has invalidated the election of Senator Ademola Adeleke who was until now the declared winner of the Osun state governorship election.
