A new Guinean strongman, Colonel Mamady Doumbouya has emerged from the coup d’etat stage earlier in the Guinean nation. He is Col. Mamady Doumbouya, a former legionnaire of the French army who was recalled to Guinea to head a special military wing 2018.
There have been insinuations within official and military cycles that Doumbouya’s desire to make the GPS independent from the defence ministry had aroused suspicion in Conakry’s power. he struck earlier today and arrested the country 83 years old, Alpha Conde, who has held on to power for 10 years, He won a controversial third term after tinkering with the Constitution.

This is not the first time that Alpha Condé has been confronted with an attempted putsch. In 2011 in particular, his home had been the target of an assault – but, this time, the quality of the putschists makes the situation serious”, according to local sources.
