The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District Headquarters, Ayo ni o, popularly known as “Baba Fakeye Church” is hosting its annual Nine Lessons and Christmas Carol service.
The Church’s 30th Inter-denominational Nine Lessons and Christmas Carol Service 2020, with the Theme, “Peace to the World”, will take place, today Friday 18th December, 2020, from 3:00pm at Main Church Auditorium Sanya Ijesha in Lagos.
According to the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Evangelist Akin Ekundayo, arrangements have been concluded for this 30th edition to make it a memorable event as guest will be treated to melodious, soul lifting and inspiring songs by the Church Choir group.
To grace the occasion are very important dignitaries which include, representatives from the Presidency, Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State and his Lagos counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the publisher of Oviation International, Chief Dele Momodu, members Lagos State House of Assembly, members of State Executive Council, Commissioners, Special Advisers and Special Assistants.
Others include captains of the industries and dignitaries from the corporate world, Muslim clerics and their Christian counterparts from various denominations across the country. The Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo and market women and men from across Lagos State have all been invited to grace this year’s event and are expected to feature in the list of special dignitaries to the celebration.
Evangelist Akin Ekunday also told the media that the Chief Host for the day is no other personality than the Church Leader Senior Special, Apostle Prophet (Dr) Sunday F. Korede, Chairman/General Leader Surulere District to be supported by the leadership of the Church as a whole.
To add to variety to the occasion, various musical, drama, choreography and dance groups within and outside the church will be attending the carol service which will usher in Christmas celebration for the Christians globally. The report also said that children would not be left out in the annual celebration
